ZACH REYNOLDS is a beast! That is the take away from our last tournament in San Jose. In our first game against the Rockets Zach blocked a penalty kick, scored his first goal and had a shut down second half in goal. Impressive!

Although the team had a 2-1 loss against the fully staffed and rocking Rockets everyone played very well. Matt was dependably in the right place at all times, Hunter acquitted himself well in the "roving keeper" position, Kian got to play in his first game ever, Alexa was quick to the ball (too quick at times : ) and Tyler was everywhere playing in the center position.

The Flames had a 2-1 loss against the Flash in an amazing game where Hunter played in the strong center position, Tyler, Lex, Matt and Kian roved the wings and Zach held down the goal.

Hunter notched a goal for the Flames and the team had some chances to score (one really close opportunity for Kian!) but ended up one goal shy of the tie!

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to San Jose to play. I am very proud of the way that everyone played and the teamwork displayed this past weekend. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend!

Rest up and be ready for practice on Sunday April 3 from 1-4.

Please please please try to be on time so that we can all get the most out of our practices. Two more practices before we head back to San Jose for our next tournament.

FLAME ON!
