Coaches Corner #16
Wowee kazowee - what a day of power soccer! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone for putting together another top notch tournament - great job on food, set up, clean up banners and signage - and a special thanks to Janet for fundraising for the event - AMAZING!
And then there were the actual games - Hunter with a buzzer beater to claim victory over the Bombers 3-2, the return of Joseph to a shut down effort in goal, Josh, Jessica, Matt and Zach playing some awesome defense, Tyler completing a full game of play and Lexi and Joe Baldi filling in the gaps to make a 2-0 day for the Flames.
There were lots of scoring opportunities and good decision making out there - all indicators of future successes. This week's tournament brings the overall record for the season to 5-1 - GREAT WORK everyone!
Our next practice will be Sunday December 20 and will be a lot of fun drills some scrimmaging and a holiday celebration. In order to continue to have success everyone needs to continue to bring good attitudes and work ethic to practices - We will see you all on the 20th.
